This program is designed for 7 year old intermediate skiers who want to explore the fundamentals of freestyle skiing.  Athletes will be introduced to switch and backwards skiing, flat skiing, moguls and their first park features, including boxes and jumps.  The program also incorporates focused ski improvement to help participants refine their overall technique.  Students should be confident and capable on a variety of terrain, with an interest in developing their terrain park skills.  Participants should be strong, confident skiers in order to benefit from this program.

EQUIPMENT - Twin tip skis are strongly recommended.  All students must have a current Terrain Park Pass.

SKILL ABILITY – Program participants are strong, intermediate parallel skiers that are comfortable skiing on blue terrain and above and are able to load/unload chairlifts independently.  Some experience in terrain parks is recommended.

MEETING LOCATION – Program drop off and pick up take place at the West Lodge, by the wood shed. Students must be picked in person by a parent/guardian at lunch and at the end of class.
