The Caledon Snow School Volunteer Program is designed for young members who are confident skiers and are interested in beginning the journey toward becoming a fully certified Snow Pro.

The Snow School Volunteer Program is an excellent opportunity to:

Under the guidance of senior Snow School staff, begin to learn about the rewarding pathway to ski instruction
Begin developing the key skills needed for future winters of ski instruction
Have a balance of on-hill session time with senior staff and practical on-hill experience with certified instructors
Learn valuable communication skills, along with tips and strategies for keeping young students organized and safe while ensuring they have fun on the slopes

This is a volunteer position. Volunteer hours may be used towards required school community involvement. All program applicants will gain valuable experience by submitting an application and participating in a brief interview. Please note, Snow Pro Volunteers are not eligible for Caledon Membership dues reimbursement.

Snow Pro Volunteers will receive a uniform jacket and name badge for the season. The name badge and uniform must be returned on the final day of volunteering.

Volunteer applicants must be Caledon Members. Applicants must be 13 years of age by December 31, 2026.

SKILL ABILITY – Snow Pro Volunteers must be parallel skiers on all terrain and must be able to assist young skiers with loading and unloading all lifts at the Caledon Ski Club.

WORK COMMITMENT & PROGRAM DATES:

Snow Pro Volunteers will be volunteering in the 9-Week Program (see dates below) and have the opportunity to join Camps 1-3.

9 Week Program – *Saturday & Sunday January 2 & 3 through Saturday & Sunday February 27 & 28. *The 9 Week Program includes Family Day Weekend

Camp 1 – December 19-22

Camp 2 – December 27-30

Camp 3 – March 15-18
