Drop Zone and The Ski Bus are designed to make your Alpine Programs experience smoother, safer, and more flexible—so families can focus on fun on the slopes and help with balancing various program start times at different lodges at the Club.

 

Do you need to balance program drop off and pickup between lodges but can’t be in multiple locations at once? The Ski Bus is a Snow Pro supervised program that safely transports participants between Lodges in time for their programs by skiing/riding from Drop Zone to Drop Zone. Please note, the Ski Bus leaves 15 minutes prior to the start of your lesson.  Please arrive ready to ski/ride.

• West Lodge – at the Woodshed 

• Main Lodge – across from the Inukshuk

Your registration includes Ski Bus (on hill travel) from the Drop Zone at your base lodge to the Drop Zone location at the lodge your program is based out of.​

SKILL ABILITY – Participants must be able to ride lifts with a minimal assistance and can independently ski/snowboard the hills that they group takes from location to location: Sidewinder, West Hill and Alley Way.

HOW TO REGISTER - Registration is available through your Member Account under the Green “Register Now” button, similar to registering for a program. From there, select the option based on the program that your child(ren) is/are registered in:

​EXAMPLE OF HOW THE SKI BUS WORKS 

​​​Student in the Saturday U8 program based at the West Lodge Woodshed, but the family locker is at the Main Lodge. The U8 program times are 10:00-12:00pm and 1:00-3:00pm. 

​

• A parent/guardian registers them for the U8 Saturday Ski Bus in their Member Account under the green “Register Now” button. 

• A Snow Pro (“Bus Driver”) skis the student from Main to West at 9:45am in time for the start of U8.  

• For lunch, the student takes an 11:45am Ski Bus to the Main Lodge Drop Zone, where a parent/guardian picks up their student at 12 noon and they head inside for a break. 

• After lunch, the student returns to the green Main Lodge Drop Zone flag and takes the 12:45pm Ski Bus back to West Lodge. 

• The student is also registered for the 2:45pm Ski Bus from West to Main Lodge, where a Snow Pro ensures he arrives safely back at Main Lodge Drop Zone at the end of the day where the parent/guardian will pick up their child at 3pm.

Note - all 'Ski Buses' leave promptly 15 minutes prior to lesson start time and deliver students to their appropriate program or home lodge Drop Zone on the hour.
